Summer League Announcement

Pleasanton Lacrosse would like to announce its first Summer Lacrosse Guest Coach, John Christmas. John will be joining PLC Summer Lacrosse participants on Thursday, June 20. During the 6-8pm training session John will have a booth setup at the field selling clothing and gear from his 141 lacrosse apparel company. Many of you are familiar with John's lacrosse career but here are a few of his many career lacrosse highlights:
3x High School All-American (first in PA Commonwealth history)
College:
· Four-year starter at attack for Virginia
· Named second-team All-America as a junior in addition to earning All-ACC status
· Scored career-high 36 goals during junior season, which led the team and was among the national leaders
· Named National Rookie of the Year by Inside Lacrosse during 2002 season
· Named third-team All-America as a senior in addition to earning All-ACC status
· Played on 2003 National Championship Team at Virginia
· Selected by the Philadelphia Wings (Indoor Box) in the fifth round (49th overall) of the 2005 NLL Entry Draft.
· Selected by the Boston Cannons in the first round of the 2005 MLL Collegiate Draft.
· Won the MLL Most Improved Player honors in his second season in the league, and appeared in the 2006 MLL All-Star Game.
· Named to Team USA in the 2007
World Indoor Lacrosse Championships.
