Started in 2002 with 2 teams, 1-Pup and 1-Jr. Pup, the Pleasanton Lacrosse Club has grown year after year. In 2011 we sponsored 11 youth boys lacrosse teams with over 200 players, ranging in age levels from U9 to High School JV boys. 

Our Mission:   PLC is a nonprofit organization founded to provide our youth the opportunity to play lacrosse and have a positive, character building experience. Through the game of lacrosse players learn lessons that will last a lifetime. We focus our coaching in three areas, Athletic Skills, Lacrosse Skills, and Work Ethic. By these three principals we will explore life lessons, exploit teachable moments, and provide a fun character building lacrosse experience on and off the field to our young athletes. At all times we will adhere to the Positive Coaching Alliance “Double-Goal” coaching principal of striving to win while achieving a more important goal of using sports to teach life lessons.

Registration is now open for your hometown summer league. Sorry for the delay as we've been formulating the plan for this summer; and what a great program we have lined up for you.

The league opens on Wednesday, June 20th and will run for five (non-consecutive) weeks through Sunday, July 29. Practice and instruction will be held on Wednesday nights from 6:00pm to 8:00pm. Games will be played Sunday mornings from 10:00am to 12:00pm. (No practice July 4th, No game July 8th)

Pleasanton summer league is ideal for new and existing players that want to improve and hone their stick skills in the off season. This is the best deal around, for $85 you get five weeks of instruction and five pick up games for a total of 10 sessions. That's less than $10 per session.

New players trying lacrosse for the first time can also rent equipment for a small fee. Summer League is open for all boys in elementary and middle school. Boys entering the ninth grade in the fall 2012 are not eligible for youth summer league.
